The Utility Billing Department handles all billing and billing inquiries for services provided by the Town of Westlake, which include water, sewer, & trash (residential only). The department assists residents and businesses with new service, termination of service, and inquiries about rates and services.
If you are new to Westlake or transferring from another Westlake account, fill out this account setup form. Deposits will vary based on the size of the meter(s) placed at the site. Once the form is submitted, Utility Billing will send you an email with instructions and details, including your deposit amount (these usually run from $90 to $800 for residential accounts).
If you need help with utilities not provided by the Town of Westlake, please see our Public Utilities page for more information.
If you are leaving Westlake, complete this Account Termination form. This short form allows us to document when you need to terminate your account. It ensures that you are not billed for services after you have moved out.
**If you are signed up for auto-draft, your final bill will not be drafted**
If you need to update account information such as name, mailing address, or email/print bill options, please send a notice in writing. You can write the change on your payment coupon, mail a note, or email Utility Billing.
**It is the customer's responsibility to notify the Town of any changes in a timely manner.**
We also appreciate having current phone numbers and email addresses on file in case we need to contact you. Reasons for contacting you may include neighborhood meetings, road closures near your home, or emergency updates, such as gas leaks or boil water advisories. We will NEVER sell or distribute your private information to anyone. We take your privacy very seriously.
The Town of Westlake accepts payments made by cash, money orders, checks, and credit card (AmEx, MasterCard, Visa, & Discover). You can also sign up for automatic bank or credit card drafts. Please visit our Pay Your Utility Bill page for more information.
