The General Election for Mayor, Town Council Place 2, and Town Council Place 4, for two-year terms for the period of May 2026 thru May 2028, will occur on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Filing for a place on the ballot will begin on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, and close at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, February 13, 2026. The Notice for Filing Period was posted on December 11, 2025.
Applications and forms submitted by current public officials may contain redactions of information, including home address and home phone number, pursuant to Section 552.1175(a)(17) of the Texas Government Code, as amended by House Bill 1082 (87th regular Legislative Session).
