Volunteering for Appointment
The Town of Westlake is fortunate to have a large number of concerned citizens who are willing to volunteer their time, energy, and expertise to serve the community as members of our various boards and commissions.
Generally, the requirement for board appointments is the following:
The Town typically accepts applications annually beginning in April through May of every year. Applications are available online and must be submitted to the Town Secretary's Office. Final appointments are made by the Town Council. Typically, annual appointments are made in June. The Town Secretary's Office holds applications for one year should a vacancy occur on any board or commission during a mid-year term.

Occasionally, the Town will need to fill vacancies on various boards and commissions.
