If you missed the Town Council/Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, September 16th, here is everything you need to know:
- Council appointed Michael Yackira for the open Council seat
- Mayor Kim Greaves proclaimed September as Prostate Cancer Awareness Month in the Town of Westlake
- Council saw a presentation about promoting Westlake Academy and their IB programme to Westlake residents, stakeholders, and corporate partners
- A presentation was given about student performance on STAAR and EOC assessments at Westlake Academy
- Held public hearing and adopted the approval of the annual operating and capital budget for fiscal year 2024-2025
- Held public hearing and adopted the approval to levy an ad valorem rate for the tax year 2024
- Approved the final plat of the Villaggio Development, approx. 37.51 acres
- Approved amendments to Ordinance 1008 regarding the 3-acre parcel of land known as Aspen Estates
- Approved a negotiated settlement between Atmos Cities Steering Committee and Atmos Energy
- Approved the fiscal year financial policies
