If you missed the Town Council/Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, June 17, here is everything you need to know:
- Council appointed Planning & Zoning as well as Texas Student Housing Authority commissioners.
- Council heard reports from both our Police and Fire Chiefs
- Public hearing was held regarding the Westlake Academy 2024-2025 school budget
- Council approved the adoption of the proposed WA budget for fiscal year ending on June 30, 2025
- Council approved the amended operating budget for fiscal year ending on June 30, 2024.
- Council approved WA employee compensation plan for the 2024-2025 fiscal year
- Council approved Alan Wayland as alternate judge for the Town of Westlake
- Council tabled a strategic plan scope of services and to begin scheduling strategic planning sessions until a future meeting
- Council approved a date and time for Town Council Governance training and TEA mandated training
