Per Town ordinance, all buildings must be equipped with an automatic fire sprinkler system. No permit or registration needs to be submitted to the Town, however fire sprinkler and alarm plans must be submitted by the project’s licensed Fire Protection Contractor.

Plans are required for all new construction, or when 20 or more sprinklers are added or altered within a system. If less than 20 sprinklers are affected, please contact the Fire Marshal's Office for sprinkler visual inspection.
Plans are required for all new construction, or when more than 1 initiating device is added or altered within a system.
The project applicant is responsible for review fees charged by the third party review service. No additional permitting is required when an existing permit is already open on the project.
After receiving approval on plan submittal, please ensure plans have been received by the Fire Marshal's Office. Inspections may be delayed if plans are not received.
