Functions 
The Town of Westlake does not have a formal department of purchasing but tasks its departmental directors with the management of their department's applicable bids and contracts. Each of the main departments is accountable for all purchases of supplies, equipment, and services, thus ensuring that all purchases are in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and are within the approved budget.
