Why does it take so long for you to get my citation?
Your citation information must be filed in the court office - by the police officer - prior to the clerk assisting you with payment or any case-processing activities. Citations are issued through the Keller Police Department and they transport their information to us either electronically or via courier two to three times per week. This may cause a delay in the court office receiving the original document from the police facility.

According to law, you may not present your copy of the document and use this to process your case. This is the equivalent of you (as the defendant) attempting to file the charges against yourself.
